Introduction

This evening, I am reporting on Byers Road in Glasgow’s West End. This is a trendy, upscale district on which more below.

Visitors could spend one or two days taking in the following which can be reached on foot:

Kelvingrove: A world class art gallery and museum.

Glasgow University and it’s associate, the Hunterian Museum, both of which are open to the public.

Glasgow Botanic Gardens

Great Western Terrace, an architectural gem.

Byers Road

This is a mile or so long and populated with a wide range of shops and other outlets. Here is everything from upscale grocery stores such as Waitrose to a tiny outlet selling vintage clothes. In between are restaurants, coffee shops, charity shops, pharmacies and numerous speciality shops.
