This post reports on my visit yesterday to the 2026 Highland Art Prize Exhibition.

Information on the 2026 Highland Art Prize Exhibition

Location was the Briggait Galleries in Bridgate, Glasgow G1. In recent times I have covered a number of art related exhibitions at the Briggait with a pottery festival being most recent.

The exhibition centres on the Highland Art Prize (Duais Ealain Na Gaidhealtaltachd). Prize giving is scheduled for Friday, 16th October.

Below are images representing a sample of the paintings which appeal to me.
